  • Reiki Sessions Costs

The Reiki Sessions can be in person or done remotely.

I prefer to meet you and horse (for Equine Reiki) in person and then as required and as convenient we can move to remote energy sessions, where the energy is sent from the Universe via me to the human and/or horse at a given time.

    The costs for the Reiki:

*In person –  Horse or Rider: £45 for a typical 45 minute Individual session

*In person –  Horse and Rider £60 for a typical 60 minute Joint session

[I love providing Reiki for both Horse and Rider/Owner in the same session, it really relaxes the horse to be with its human and the bond is strengthened with a shared Reiki experience.]

    Remote – £35 for a session

The session can include Reiki energy for horse and rider as required, I will start with the horse and if time allows move onto the rider. Horses can often need the full 45 minutes to start with and other times just need a 20 minute top up, which leaves time for the rider to get a look in 🙂 !

*no additional travel costs if within 20 miles of my base in Gawcott, Buckinghamshire, otherwise 20+ miles lets discuss in person

Why not get a group together and I can visit your yard and Reiki a few of you and your horses, happy to travel further for a group day…

  • How to Start Reiki

If you put your contact details into the form opposite I’ll be in touch to arrange a time convenient to us all.

Please gain consent from your Vet before your animal receives Reiki, most especially if you may have concerns regarding their health. You can do so by simply calling them and informing them that you are seeking this path of treatment in addition to their veterinary care.

Reiki is not intended to replace or act as an alternative to conventional treatments given by a Vet. It is complementary to traditional veterinary medicine and works well alongside it. The Veterinary Surgery Act of 1966 (amended 1996) prohibits anyone other than a Veterinary Surgeon to diagnose ailments and giving of advice on such diagnosis. The Protection of Animals Act 1911 requires that if an animal clearly needs treatment from a Veterinary Surgeon then the owner must obtain this.

The healing of animals by contact healing, by the laying on of hands or distant healing is legal. To give emergency first aid to animals for the purpose of saving life or relieving pain is permissible under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1996.

The Benefits of Equine Reiki

The Benefits of Reiki for Human & Horse

As the Human to a Horse I'm sure you agree that what is of benefit to the horse is usually good for you the owner too.

This is true when you consider the benefits of Reiki, as it works on both human and horse, because you are a partnership and when one of you is 'out of sorts' then so are the both of you.

The gentle and non-intrusive therapy of Reiki can trace its recent origins to human patients in Japan. Presently it is growing in popularity as a healing tool, to benefit humans & horses physically, emotionally and mentally.

The Nature of Reiki Healing

Reiki is a holistic system of energy healing.

We practitioners connect with the healing energy of the universe and we channel it through our bodies and out through our hands.

It was once limited to primarily healing people, now it also benefits animals around the world. A growing number of competitive & leisure sports that work with horses are taking advantage of its healing benefits.

How Reiki Works In The Body

Energy flows through the body of a human or horse that is in good health much like an electric current.

A number of factors can interfere with this flow, such as a physical injury, some trauma,  a dietary change, an emotional problem, training issues or a combination of these problems.

Any blockage of energy can result in physical, psychological or behavioural problems.

As a Reiki practitioner, providing Horse Reiki, we channel the universal energy and that restores a positive energy flow into the animal’s body, correcting any imbalance.

As you know horses are particularly sensitive and they quickly pick up on the healing, I as a practitioner offer.

I work both through hands-on and hands-off means, often I will start hands off so that the horse can become accustomed to the feeling of the energy.

Is typical for the horse to then approach me and quickly become a willing participant and will often direct me to where they need the energy.

Reiki is a non-invasive complementary therapy and at the Equine Reiki United Kingdom we practice in conformance with the Veterinary Surgery Act 1966.
